#6 | Collaboratively Writing a Film Review
Hello everyone, how are you? I hope everything is going well <3
Today, I’m going
to talk about collaborative writing. I am sure you are familiar with it, at
least it gives away itself in its name :)
Our newest task
was making a film review using collaborative writing tools. We chose to make it
on Google Docs as we are familiar with how to use it. The writing process was
really easy and enjoyable as we chose one of our favorite films: The Hunger
Games. Truly an incredible series. I can watch it non-stop the films are so
good.
Me and my friends,
Eylül Karakaş and İlayda Kara, didn’t come across any hardships, as we were familiar
with each other’s writing, and we had used Google Docs far too many times together
before this task. We could all write at the same time, even though we have been
using this platform for a long time, every time it makes me say “Woah, that’s THE
technology.”.
You can see our
film review here. If you feel like it don’t forget to read it and comment, we
would appreciate seeing other people join our little task, expressing their own
ideas.
After writing our
film review, we exchanged feedback with, Bilge, Yağmur, and Nisa. Each group
gave the other one the role of “commenter” on Google Docs. That’s how we gave the
feedback, without changing what is written on the document. That was really fun,
reading and commenting, being able to see who wrote what, and interacting with
each other. And I think these are the most useful aspects of using Google Docs.
Here, are some examples
of our comments on each other’s film reviews.
See you in the next post <3
