#5 | Digital Storytelling

Hello, my dear readers <3, how’s life I hope everything is okay. After a long break finally I’m here again!! I’ve missed writing blogs here, to be honest.

This post’s star is *drum roll sound effect* DIGITAL STORYTELLING

Creating a digital story is by far the most fun assignment I have ever done. Me and my friends, İlayda Kara and Eylül Karakaş (don’t forget to check their blogs too!), couldn’t get any work done at first because we couldn’t stop laughing. We used Pixton, which has a number of options in character and scene design, to make a storyboard and then sequenced and added our voices with the video editing app CapCut. While deciding what to do in our fictional story we remembered our previous topics: Legal and Ethical Issues in Educational Technology. Our story is simply about three young girls’ indifference to these problems. Every issue is personified as a superhero to educate people who have committed wrongdoing. We created characters and wrote a script, it felt like playing dress up like we were kids, and it felt nostalgic somehow.

Here is our digital story. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.

See you in the next post, take care <3
